I know it means the multiplaction of the factor by itself but am interested to know why the function crops up so often in famous expressions and what physical phenomena it represents.

Do you feel controlled; someone reading your thoughts and manipulating your behavior from a far? Are you suffering strange illnesses and effects that doctors can't seem to diagnose? Do you experience strange phenomena happening at your home, in your car, at your place of work which seems to have no explanation? If so, you could be targeted as an unwitting subject of human mind control technology by way of electromagnetic "nonlethal" weapon system experimentation. Check out: Bio-electromagnetic Weapons: The Ultimate weapon, by the Institute of Science in Society, at:

I would like to know your thoughts on this article and what you think might be the full range and scope of this technology.

the lower end of the string is made to describe a circular path while the string makes an angle θ with the vertical. The body undergoes uniform circular motion. At any point of time, the tension(T) is opposite to the cos component of mg, such that we can write--- T=mg cosθ
But it is seen that the cos component of T is opposite to mg, such that--- T cosθ = mg
But how is that possible??? The use of these two equations in a related problem yields two different answers.
Which one is correct and why????

Newton's second law :

m*a = P*s*e^(-bt) - C*v(t)

a = d^2x / dt

v = dx / dt

m*d^2x / dt = P*s*e^(-bt) - C*dx / dt

m*d^2x / dt + C*dx / dt = P*s*e^(-bt) >>> Differential equation

^how can i solve that differential equation?

An airplane with a speed of 33 m/s is climbing upward at an angle of 44° counterclockwise from the positive x axis. When the plane's altitude is 740 m the pilot releases a package.
(a) Calculate the distance along the ground, measured from a point directly beneath the point of release, to where the package hits the earth.
m

(b) Determine the angle of the velocity vector of the package just before impact.
° clockwise from the positive x axis

How do I solve for the horizontal distance when there is only x-for distance in the kinematics equations........I have 740m and x for distances!! Please show your work so that I can figure out how to do these problems....thanks!
