For example, I would like to have something like a square aluminum pad or something that can take in heat from a source and transfer it some way to another location without getting too hot. Maybe through an insulated wire of some sort? Possible?

are they saying that external reality doesnt exists? or are they saying it doesnt exists in the way that it appears and that we are seeing in in our minds eye?

I understand the main idea in AC electricity is that the current is moving back and forth. Why in a lamp is one wire hot and one wire neutral? Shouldn't they both be the same?

We know that there is an opposite to everything. Just as something is taking up space in this dimension/reality, is it possible for something to occupy negative space. For something to be less than not there?

Could someone please explain electron (or any partical for that matter) spin in terms of quantum field theory. I am well aware of the classical interpretation: a rotating sphere inducing a magnetic field.

Don't tell me to go to wikipedia, I am looking for a first hand explaniation from another physicst.

hello,
i have few questions for you and this is for my thesis (it is not the actual thesis but still very important) and we have to make people aware of radioactivity
so if you answer my questions accurately, i will be more than happy and i will appreciate

Where is radioactivity used today?
Can we avoid radioactivity?
Should we use radioactivity or not?

thank you very much
if you get the answer from websites or somewhere else, please mention it and list the sources :) (that shows awareness as well)

I've been having this debate with my boss at work. I'm a sports coach and I mostly work outside. Our uniform is black with white writing and this week the sun was scorching! I text my manager saying he needs to buy a uniform in the opposite colours (white with black writing) to which he replied the black absorbs heat and stops it affecting the body. To which I replied that white reflects the light and stops the heat getting to the body in the first place. Can someone please let me know who's right-hopefully so I can gloat!!!
