Two blocks are connected by a thin inextensible string over a frictionless massless pulley as shown on the picture below
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2 :
M1=21 kg
M2=11 kg
v = 3.5 m/s
a = 3.4 m/s^2
ANGLE=23DEGREE
Given that the two blocks move at 3.5 m/s
under an acceleration of 3.4 m/s^2, calculate
the coefficient uk of kinetic friction between
the left block and the incline.

first of all I know portals don't exist. thats why it's called theoretical physics. last time I asked this the only answer was that I was that.

second of all there is a new game called portal and It has cool fun with theoretical physics and portals. so I have a couple of questions.

1. a created a portal on a wall and then one on my back and then walked through the first portal. what would happen.

2. if I created to portal on the ground and then I through a heavy box into one. would the box keep going up and down forever or would it eventually stop in the middle.

3. where can I find other free games where I can mess with theoretical physics.

when someone gets this game would some one answer these questions.

If an earth-sized mass were in the shape of, say, a cone would its gravitational field be the same on all points of the surface as on earth or stronger at the thicker end where an inhabitant would be nearer more matter? Essentially, do non-spherical objects have centres that determine their gravitational field regardless as to the spread of the matter and are the fields equally strong in all directions?

My work gives me no challenge and I trouble myself with random questions in fields in which I have no education/clue.

Calculate the total work done on the package. If the package has a speed of 2.2 m/sec. at the top of the ramp, what is its speed after sliding 1.5m down the ramp???

I've got 9.6*10^-3, I've been dividing the area of the graphite (using its diameter- pieR^2) by the gardient of a graph, which is resistance times length, i believe i used length as X axis and Resiatance as Y in the graph. I really just need to know could 9.6*10^-3 be right and if not how do you work out the resistivity of graphite.....sorry for reposting
