dont know if this is in the realm of your question, i do know that some are placing probes on surgeon and testing muscle strain. That way they can study and find a way to prolong a surgeons career. Also, there are eyeball mice so that the disabled can use a computer. Electro-shock therapy...wait. i think they've stopped doing that.
