I mean if you go using specific heat capacity,

specific heat capacity * mass = energy/ change in temp

If

SPH * 1/2 y = energy/ T- X

then it will be different from: SPH * y = energy/ T-X

yet, look at this question:

The temperature of 100g of water is 25 degree celsius. When you divide the water into 5 parts, each part is 5 degree celsius.

Any idiot can tell it's wrong. My reasoning is that the average kinetic energy is equal throughout.

My teacher's reasoning is that temperature has no relation to mass.

A uniform magnetic field of magnitude 0.200 T is directed along the positive x axis. A positron moving at 5.20 106 m/s enters the field along a direction that makes an angle of 85.0° with the x axis. The motion of the particle is expected to be a helix.

Mass is energy, and you can't create an area with a definite amount of energy (E = 0) for a long period of time.

I'm having a hard time with this problem (and I want to finally go to sleep plz)

Two cars, both of mass m, collide and stick together. Prior to the collision, one car had been traveling north at speed 2v, while the second was traveling at speed v at an angle phi south of east (as indicated in the figure). After the collision, the two-car system travels at speed v_final at an angle theta east of north.

Please see the graph http://session.masteringphysics.com/problemAsset/1007938/22/6318.jpg

Thank you

Could this possibly be true? biomass on the surface of the earth.
