If i throw a stone(say 1kg) with the angle of(say 60 degree),then the stone goes in projectile motion and finally reach the ground(say 10m from the beginning),then how much POWER did i use in that throwing? What formulea should i use to calculate it?

Anyone~~~???

Thanks,....!!

one of the earliest high quality mic. was d capasitor mic. consisting of a flat circular disk of metal foil separated by a thin insulating washer around its periphery from a flat conducting sheet. the foil and plate form a capasitor. the plate is grounded and the foil is raised to a potential V through a resistor. if the resistor is 10x10^6 ohm and if the foil diameter is 75mm, its separation from the plate 1mm, potential 100V, what rms voltage change when 500Hz vibrates the foil through a total amplitude of 40micrometer at its midpoint. assume that the midpoint amplitude of the foil is twice the average displacement across the entire foil surface.

I have recently reread "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking and in the book, he states that quantum mechanics and relativity are contradictory to each other and therefore cannot both be correct. I realize that at present physics lacks a unified theory that incorporates both but in what ways are they contradictory to each other? And if they cannot both be correct, how is it that we are able to make incredibly accurate predictions using both? Does it have to do with the presence or lack of singularities within the Universe?
Thanks in advance.

there is plenty of evidence that space itself ( the universe ) is expanding. if so, shouldnt it mean that matter ( the atoms themselves ) are expanding in size ( as they exist within the fabric of space ) ? please post your thoughts ( i would prefer professionals only )

if matter also expands, then why does the distance between objects increase ? if only the distance increase, then doesnt matter occupy a position "independent" to space ( instead of existing within it [ as it is believed ] ?

i believe the key to understanding this paradox is the next step in theoretical physics.
