The takeoff speed of a jetliner is 360 km/h. If the jetliner is to take off from a 2100 m long runway, what must be the (constant) acceleration along the runway?

You have 3 known variables:

Vi = 0 m/s
Vf = 100 m/s (360 Km/h converted to m/s))
d = 2100 m

use the equation Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2ad
