Actually, the colours are red, blue and green. And when these colours are emitted (rather than reflected), they can be combined to produce any colour we can see. Check wikipedia for more details -- I can't be bothered copying it for you.

If you look VERY closely at a television screen, you will see that the picture is made up of small dots, each "dot" is really three dots - one red, one blue and one green.
When all three dots are lit with the same brightness, the result is white! Needless to say, when they are not lit, the result is black (or pretty close to it)
By adjusting the intensity of each dot color, millions of different colors can be produced.
It's much like mixing 1/2 can of blue paint and 1/2 can of yellow paint - you will get a full can of green paint.
The television "mixes" the three colors electronically to produce all of the colors you see on the screen.
Pretty cool, eh?

Others have pointed out that the colors are red, green, and blue, so I won't repeat it... oops I just did.
I don't know technical details of what happens in our eyes, but they can easily be fooled, and see combinations of the primary colors as if there were other colors present.

THROUGH THE MAGIC OF THE CREATOR OF LIGHT.....GOD.
he seems to allow us to believe in scientific explainations where all credit is deservant of him.
we are more comfortable this way.
he does not want to scare us of his abilities or make things unfamiliar to us humans.
if he was present with all his powers and magic then we would feel very disillusioned and our world would not hold stability, consequence, consistancy,or predictability in which all humans,'children', need in a good home to become stable, intelligent individuals.and we would be expected by the magic keeper of our expectancy to expect unpredictability without scientific laws governing these lives.
MAGIC......GOD IS IN THE TV.
