From car alternater I'd like to convert DC to AC. The alternater produces 12-14 volt, 40-50 amps DC approximately. How many watts probably could I get the most? If I hook up directly between alternator and rectifier to get AC, how many watts, volt could I get without regulater? I have tried to find out but confused. Thank you.

Suppose you are driving along at a constant 98.1 km/h (i.e., 61 mi/h) and you experience a 1.00 s long, eyes-closed, giant sneeze. How many meters does the car travel while you are out of control?

In this article from Contempoary Physics, the authors discuss how quantum entanglement would work with two particles.

It would be nice to be able to achieve this with more than two particles!

evidence for a deterministic future:

1. In quantum mechanics, time evolution is symmetric.
2. Bell's Theorem that says either free will is an illusion or the theory of general relativity is false.
3. In general relativity, future already exist and is determined in the 4th dimension.
4. Wheeler De Witt Equation is timeless.

This is a theoretical question. Assuming we know everything about everything in the universe. Can we then calculate the future. Logic tells me we could, but my guts tell me know.

If we could, then the future would be fixed, and my so called "free will" would not be free, but just a result of past inter actions of atoms.

We established in a previous question that if you had two paralell lines, and if you followed them for enough that you would (north) eventually have the lines meet. My thought is that if you were on the equator that this would work. Exactly half of your line north, and half south of the equator, or your lines would cross, earlier on the shorter route and later on the longer one. Example if you were one mile from the pole and you set up two one half mile paralell lines they would not meet at the pole?

The question is have I lost my mind?

On a quantum level, what occurs inside iron and steel when it is exposed to a electric/magnetic field so that it's properties change? Does the metal become polarized? Why does this not happen to all kinds of matter and why only metals?

Fusion, combining atoms to create bigger nucleus, You gain energy out of the process.

Fission, splitting nucleus into different atoms, you gain energy out of the process.

Sounds like you can't lose in terms of energy when you mess with the nucleus of a atom, don't you feel that ?

So, if you fusion atoms then split it again, doesn't it sound like you can continue to milk it in a loop ?
