Once you have an atom, you have the smallest particle that can be identified as being of a particular element. An atom is composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Electrons are fundamental particles, that is, we know nothing about smaller particles that may compose them. Protons and neutrons are formed from quarks, which are also fundamental.

well, what kind of spiltting,
if one atom spilt,it will affect others, so it will lose its flexibty so it will just dont exist after one spilt
