If science is based on just fact.Impirical collected fact, that proves why the things occur? A scientific matter of fact. Then why is there big gaps.Where they have to conjecture to fill in a missing parts. Then they faith that it is true.Without complete fact.An if your belief system is based on that. Then wouldn't it be considered a religion?Plus it blows my that what we know is true now. Will soon to be disproven by someone else.I am not saying is crap.We have learned a lot of cool stuff. But is still a faith.
I do have a good question about the big bang theory. The universe expands and contracts.Where did the original matter come from?

It doesn't make scence to me how something that apears to be a big, ugly, wet, pink, squishy blob can do so much. How does it store knowledge, memories, give us emotions. Do our brains give us our personality or is it developed over time or is it our souls? Why does our brain only like certain things (like foods, music, ext.) How is it suported by that skinny little brain-stem? Why does everyone have different brain functions (different personalities, emotions, preffrences, ext.) when all brains look pretty much the same. I'v been told that every wrincle in the brain is something you know but I don't believe that, so what are the wrincles for? Are people with big brains smarter than people with smaller brains? I'v also been told that our brains give us dreams because there bored while we sleep, is that true?

The technology world has the concept of open-source, whereby skilled individuals can contribute to a collective technology goal. Does such a thing exist within the scientific community, allowing individuals with scientific minds/background to contribute to science, rather than limiting it to institutions and universities? If not, why not?
