Human evolution has ceased - for there to be natural selection, there must be survival of the fittest. Today, everyone survives, at least long enough to pass on their genes.

I posit that many of us have genes for selfish behavior; those genes made sense in the Stone Age. Maybe rape or genocide genes too.

Don't believe me? Answer this question: why are men 25% bigger than women, on average? Answer, because our ancestors competed for breeding possibilities, and the bigger men won out, even though there is a penalty for larger body mass.

Though the evolution of behavior traits has ceased, some believe the evolution of behavior ideas is still going on - memetics.

After consideration, I don't think *ideas* are strong enough to overcome our natural tendencies. If it were otherwise, there would be no religious wars.

Colonize the galaxy? Plausible, even if all we do is send our genetic material. Once started, a chain reaction completes the process in blink of an eye.

What should we do?

theres 4 pictures, one of a bone, one of a box thingy with layers, one of a cell, and one of a skeleton.
the answer choices are tissue organ system and cell. im confused if organ is a bone or a box thingy with layers. i think bone is a organ because of the system wich is a skeletal system, but bone is also conective tissu. the anser has to be one strait answer. it cant be neither or both. im confused so help me out >:(

From age 10 to 18 then 21 to 22 I stayed in a house w/ my MOM and Stepfather where I expereinced some strange things and so did a maid who looked over my step sister. Most of the really obvious wierd stuff was from when I wasn't in highschool yet. I wonder about now and If any of it was just my imagination
which is very active and how much of it was explainable. One thing that freaks me out to this day that is absolute fact is a metallic noise that would wake me as a child around 3 am often
seemed to follow me to my new apartment at age 20 and woke me around 3 am. It freaks me out to this day and thats just one of many experiences.
