I am a Christian, and I am Lutheran. First and foremost I want to state that I can accept and respect any beliefs but I stand strongly by my own. I really want to look outward and learn as much as I can and grow in my faith. So why is this in the science area instead of the religion area.
You can't have a science debate between a science person and a religion person. But you can have a terrific debate between two religious people... just watch out that they dont start doing what religious people have done for centuries - namely, kill people who dont agree with them, Scientists dont do that, they are too moral. .

Lutheran, hmm, Luther reported that "reason is the enemy of religion" so as that precludes "severe theological debate" with a Lutheran in my e book, Luther develop into also a cantankerous drunken anti-Semite. those aren't to any extent further defamation yet from Luther's personal writings...
