Ok. So, at 2am daylight savings ends. Do I set my clock back to 1 am or do I put it at 3 am? I have to be at work at 7am.... so would I really show up at 6 or 8 actual time. (before changing the clock) Sorry, it's confusing, but I don't know which way to change my clock. If it's 7.... Should I turn it to 6 or 8? Thanks

I have been looking through the science sections of this site and it seems to me most people are typing in their homework questions and just waiting for someone else to give them the answer. Are there people out there who are honestly just curious about something?

You may have heard that potato salad is one of the worst foods to take for a picnic. This is because it doesn’t take very long for it to become contaminated with bacteria. Assuming that you could remove all the bacteria in the potato salad except 10 (virtually impossible) and that bacteria double every 20 minutes – how many bacteria would there be after 3 hours?

A Psycho torturer locks your body into a kneeling position under a modified sink.
It is designed so that from the neck up, your head is inside the sink.
Your nose has been stuffed with swimmer's noseplugs so you must breath out your mouth.
One of your hands is handcuffed behind your back but the other is free.
The psycho hands you a high powered screwdriver and turns on the water.

Slowly the water rises to cover your mouth. You cannot breath.

The killer has handed you the screwdriver and he claims "IN ORDER TO SAVE YOURSELF, YOU MUST DRILL INTO YOUR OWN NECK (auto Traechyotomy) so you can breath through your neck.

Do you:

A) Allow the water to drown you

or

B) Drill into your neck so you can breath through the hole?

People everywhere are polluting MY air, ( which i gladly share with people) and they are slowy killing me. But far to little do they know they are killing themselves also. What do I /we do in a situation like this, to just get some/ all attention drawn to this, also not to pushed under the carpet after a week of acknowledgement.

So i was thinking that thought is not seperable from sensory experience. In order to think, you must have something to think about. Now that's all dandy until i thought of math and science. We don't see numbers, we don't see exponential functions, etc... We come up with that, induction and deduction. So where do YOU think it comes from? Are we programmed with a sense of math and science? Or... what other reasons can you think of?

And don't say four, because I will flag you for abuse!!! Nobody will ever convince me that putting two and two together makes four things. Hold on, I have to make more banana muffins for the continental breakfast in the morning. Man, if there is one thing I hate more than trying to figure out the secrets in life, it's making Banana muffins! At least I don't have to make them with nuts today.
