In some ways I live in eternal hope.
In other ways I hope not because I love the ethnic differences in this world.
If all races melded into one, then what would be the point in travelling?
How could we discover new ways of thinking?
How could we learn to appreciate where we've come from?
How could we admire & learn from other cultures?
Those that practice cultural & racial bigotry now would manufacture a way to discriminate in some other way.
We need to accept and respect the differences in our races, and work together to overcome the bigots in the world.

Of course it is possible, but look at the facts so far. In the United States, whites have been interbreeding with blacks since the beginning, and as a result one can see every degree of blackness in the population. But still there are a huge number of very dark people, showing that the interbreeding has been relatively limited. Political policies that pit "us" against "them" in employment, education, housing, and so on, will probably kep it that way.

That's always been my theory.
If you ever noticed, when you see a bunch of people of the same race, they're really not an attractive group by itself. But every race has good traits to pass on.
I'm Irish and English.
Have you any idea how really white I am? Not very attractive.
Some black people are really black.. Not very attractive.
Mix them and you will get a baby that's not only better looking than either one of his parents, with any luck he will have inherited the best genes from each parent.

I don't think so
Racial differences are because groups of people are relatively isolated in certain environments and climates.
Increased travel will increase intermarriage between widely isolated groups but will not stop people from staying put.
In the future oil will become more scarce and peoples will travel less, those who have 'intermarried' will become new races in their own right.

yes, in my city it is becoming a grand thing, interracial marriages or relationships and a great percentage of the children around these days are bi racial.

I'm hopeful that someday people will realize there is only one race to begin with... the human race.
