I differentiate the ideals and reals on the basis of the following:
One is an idea, if the one gives another one and if both of them are equal (1=1). One is a “non-ideal” matter, if one gives another one and if both of them are not equal (one is not equal to another one).

For instance,
Grass is an idea, if one grass gives another grass and if both of them are equal (grass=grass). Grass is a “non-ideal” matter, if one grass gives another grass and if both of them are not equal (one grass is not equal to another grass).

The question pretty much sums it up, but just to clarify.

For example (please don't limit your response to just this example), the tendancy for people to disregard the advancments science is making because it interferes or disagrees with their belief in maybe God or something more specific in their religion.

This is not a question for any type of essay or school work because it is summer break and that would be to risky of a question for a teacher to ask in a public school anyways. The reason I am asking the question is because...Yes I do feel this way about certain things and I wanted other people's opinions.

Evolution is a theory. It is clearly and regularly refered to as such. Creationism is also a theory. This means neither has been proven. Although I can provide findings and facts that make the theory of evolution more plausible (such as the "mutation" of a simple cold virus on a yearly basis to render it immune to last years antibodies), I cannot provide absolute proof. But creationists talk as if scientists are unable to budge from evolution. Every scientist in the world will agree that the theory of evolution is false when someone presents evidence of such. And every scientist in the world will agree that creationism is true once someone produces solid evidence that proves it. It is the doctrine of science that they don't seem to understand.

I don't know, and thats ok. I don't have to imagine or invent a reason or explanation for something that I cannot explain. I simply live my life with enjoyment and kindness, and that will provide all the satisfaction I need.
