Your body decomposes and you will be returned to the Earth, and some people would consider that heaven, if they had a good life. What is heaven anyways? Where is it?

some people say only if you are a good person, but it says in His word that you can be the best person in the world and still not go to heaven. only if you accept Him as your Lord and personal Savior will you get to see your Creator. so,it depends on you if you make it to heaven or not.

You are here now, the past is gone, the future is unknowable. Be happy, be kind, right now and don't worry about the future, it will be here soon enough. And then the present will be the past. Would you rather look back on a life filled with worry and fret about what is to be or one spent in happiness and causing happiness for others.

That depends on if you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ or not. If you are not certain that you do, talk with a Christian pastor or minister at a church, student center (if you are at a university) or places like the Salvation Army. They can talk with you and explain more fully how to know for sure than anyone can in a small space like this.

You can also find a quiet place, calm your thoughts (some people find it easier to do this if they close their eyes and sit or kneel) and pray a prayer like the one below. It doesn't have to be these exact words but it needs to be sincere. God knows your heart and what you are thinking but He wants us to confess our sins and profess our faith in Him out loud so that it is more real to us than just thinking it in our heads also so that others such as the pastor you talk with can know you mean it and can help you grow in your faith.

Pray a prayer like this:

Heavenly Father, no one is greater than You are. You created all things. You are all powerful, all knowing and have a plan for my life. I want to follow that plan. I admit that I am a sinner and deserve to die. But I believe that You are as merciful as You are just. You sent Your only Son, Jesus Christ to die in my place for my sins. I claim His perfect sacrifice as my own and I thank You for it. I believe that You will raise me to eternal life just as You raised Your Son. Help me to live my life in a way that is pleasing to You. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

If you pray that prayer or something similar to it and really mean what you say, you are saved from your sins and will go to heaven.

Unless Jesus returns and takes you up to heaven before you die, your body will die. When our bodies die, they decompose or break down into the elements they were made from. If you are embalmed, your body won't decay as fast but it will still decay eventually. However, your soul (the part of you that makes you really you and not somebody else) will live on but it will sleep here on earth until Jesus returns. When He comes back, He will raise everyone up from the dead, give them new, perfect bodies and judge them. Those who have a relationship with Him will be sent to heaven to live eternally with God in peace and happiness. Those who rejected or did not know Him will be sent to hell or the pit along with Lucifer where they will be eternally separated from God and will suffer.

The time between when your body dies and Jesus returns will seem like an instant because the spirit realm exists outside of time. So it will seem like just a blink of an eye between when you die and when you'll be judged. It's kind of like when you go to sleep now. You don't really have any concept of time passing while you are asleep. If you were to not see a clock or to see outside before you went to bed and then woke up however much time later and still didn't see a clock or see outside, you wouldn't know how long it had been. Or like a coma. Coma patients who recover from it have no idea how long they have been out.

everyone wants to believe that (as long as you are a good person in life-baptised, etc.) i personally believe that. My father and my brother, in my eyes, are there waiting on me.

People say we're in the land of the living, but we're in the land of the dying.....Heaven is the land of the living. Perfection. You will be sad when you lose someone, but dont cry because you miss them...cry because they are in a perfect place & we are stuck here waiting................celebrate their life at their funeral. DOnt be sad.

If you have lived a riches life and obeyed the lows of God, you can bet your life on it.

"Fear not, life after death will be just like it was before you were born." I like that answer better than mine. That is really something to look forward to.

If you are good, then yes, if no, then hell is the place for you - this is what mom says. But i think what matters more is the time when we are alive, and we should try and make this world heavenly for most of the people!

if you have faith in it, then you will go to heaven. since no one is sure, as long as you think there really is a heaven, there will be one.
