if we have a graph of function f(x), how can we graph the derivative of that graph without knowing the equation of that graph ?? just to sketch an approximate graph.
I know that if we have a peak then the derivative would be 0.
If the graph is increasing, would the derivative be increasing or decreasing ? would it be positive or negative ?
If we have a quadratic function then the derivative would be a line that intersect the x-axis where the peak is, don't we need another point to know how to sketch the graph ?? like the y intersect for example.
Plz help me and remember that I have to sketch it without knowing the equation, and it would be approximate.

This may be kind of hard since you can't see the graph. But the question asks me "Use the graph of the function to find the function value of f(0)"

Then it shows a graph with the points (-5,5), (0,-2), and (5,1). The point at (-5,5) is included and the point at (5,1) is not.

My choices are
a. 12
b. 5
c. -2
d. None of the above.

Anyone know about this stuff???

Hello, I'm a bit confused on how to go about doing these calculations. For example, I am asked to compute the following in D6:

(μρ^2)(μρ^3) I know that the answer is ρ, but I'm completely unsure of how my professor arrived to that answer.

We are also given problems to work in D5 and then doing the same in D8, but I'm trying to at least understand this example before I can even begin to start the rest.

Thanks!
