Since you are asking you probably need to know HOW to do these types of problems not just the answer.
first isolate the variable (letter)
do this by subtracting .3 from both sides of the equation (if it was x-.3=3.3 you would add .3 to both sides)
now you have x=3
simple huh!!
if x had a number in front of it such as 3x+.3=3.3 you would finish by dividing both sides by 3 to get rid of the 3 in front of the x
