thank you so much in advance, I didn't get a chance to go over all these and really needed some help. No I am not trying to get someone to do all my work for me, i have already completed ,ost of it, just some of the ones I was stuck and taking a lot of time.

Additional Details

Thank you everyone, been so helpful and no one tried to be rude! Cool. Some more I am now stuck on:

1) Combine like terms:
-3x2 + 8x – 7x2 + 9 + 2x – x2 + 11

2) Solve for x:
5x – 12 = 4x + 5

3) Solve for x:
-3(4x + 3) – 2 = 7 – 2x + 3

4) Solve for x:
(x + 3)/4 – 3/2 = (x + 4)/8

5) please help me with translating this to an algebra statement; you don't have to solve:
Twice the difference of seven times a number and four yields the same result as the same number increased by six.

3 MEN GO INTO A MOTEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30, SO
EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25, SO
HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.

ON THE WAY, THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY
BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR
HIMSELF.

THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF
$27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?
