V = A*h = pi*r^2 * h
V = 3.14 * 4^2 * 9
V = 452.16m^3

Remember the Volume formula for a cylinder? First, just try to remember what volume really is... all the space in the object. So if the top of a cylinder is a circle, the area of the circle is (PI)r^2=A, and you take that and times it by the H of the cylinder. V=Ac(area of circle base)xH.

(PI)16(9)=v

Vc = pi * r^2 * h = pi * 16 m^2 * 9 m = 144 * pi m^3 = 452 m^3
