What are the formulas for the following?

1. Ryan wants to rent a car. He has 100 dollars. The rate is 29.99 per day and 38 cents a mile. How far will he be able to travel?

2. A class of 25 algebra students had a mean average on the chap. 6 test. Another class of 27 students earned a mean of 69 on the same test. What was the mean for the two classes?

3. A right triangle has a hypotonuse of 6 and a perimeter of 14. Find the area of this triangle

Using numbers from 1 to 9, express 1/2. You can't repeat any of the numbers and must use ALL of them (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). It also must be a whole number.

Example 1: 23/46 = 1/2. In this case I used 2,3,4 and 6 to express 1/2. So write the answer as a fraction but follow the above rules.

Example 2: No adding, you must do it list the fraction like this:
1467/59823 < I used all the numbers as you can see. This fraction expresses .024, but you must express 1/2. Basically, in the fraction ALL of the numbers must be present.

Show how you figured this out if possible (I already know the answer btw). You can guess&check if you want, but there are millions of guesses you will have to go through.
