1. Add 1 to each term of the series. Does this look more familiar?

1, 8, 27, 64, ...

The n'th term of the series is n^3 - 1.
And the next one not specified is 124.

1^3 - 1 = 1 - 1 = 0
2^3 - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7
3^3 - 1 = 27 - 1 = 26
4^3 - 1 = 64 - 1 = 63
5^3 - 1 = 125 - 1 = 124

2. From 1:56 there are 4 minutes to 2:00.
Then there are 19 more minutes to 2:19.
4+19 = 23 minutes total.

That's 23/60 of an hour, and
23/(60*24) = 23/1440 of a day.

1. Find a pattern and supply the missing number: 0,7,26,63,?
0, 7, 26, 63, xx

00 ---> = 0
+7------------------------------}
= 07 ---> = 0+7 = 7..........} 19 - 7 = 8
+19----------------------------}
= 26 ---> = 2 +6 = 8.........} 37 - 19 = 18
+37----------------------------}
= 63 ---> = 6+3 = 9.........} xx - 63 = 28
+28----------------------------}
xx ---> = x + x = 10

I guess you need xx to be 28 more than 63 and x+x = 10,
so my lucky guess could be 63 + 28 = 91

===> Thanks to Net Rider for the hint though. :)

2. What fraction of an hour passed between 1:56 am and 2;19 am today? What fraction of the day is that?

1:56am --> 2:06am = 10min
2:06am --> 2.16am = 10min
2:16am --> 2:19am = 3min

therefore 1:56 --> 2:19am = 10 + 10 + 3 = 23min

1:56 --> 2:19am = 23/60 of an hour

1 day = 24 hrs

1:56 --> 2:19am = 23/60 * 24 hr = 552/60 = 46/5 of a day
