It's a 6 shot revolver and you get to spin the cylinder on each round. (no missed shots and no misfires... you die if it goes off!)

I'm going to be in an advanced class; two actually; Algebra 1 and Spanish 1. It's very intimidating, since I have no prior classes of pre- or basic algebra. My teacher told me that since I was responsible, mature, and willing enough (and I also have straight A's) to be in a class, he gave me the option to join, as did some others. I am afraid I'll lose my 3.9 GPA and slip to a C student. I'm also afraid I'll not be able to handle both classes, PLUS juggle cheerleading within the mix all year round, then have track season start as soon as cheerleading ends. I can't bow out now; I'm too far in. Should I forget about track until I find out if it's too much? How can I prepare for my classes? HELP!

Apologies; Over the years I have forgotten.

When I ask "complex", I mean that you can't just multiply/divide 1 side to reach an equation that is simple to add/subtract to solve.

The system of equations I am currently attemping to solve is as follows:

3x - 4y = 21
4x + 2y = 6

I know how to solve this equation using substition and graphing but am unable to do it with linear combinations.

Thanks! Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
