Is there any easy way / formula / a mere expert look at the number to check whether a given number is a Prime or not without going the whole nine yards of factorization? If there is any, share it with us all here.

I am going to be a junior in high school this coming school year. I am a year ahead in math because I took Algebra in 8th grade, instead of the normal, which is 9th grade. I am going to be taking Honors Pre-Cal, and I was wondering what it's like. My Alg. 2 teacher said that she thinks I'll be really good at it, but I am still a little worried. I was wondering if it's anything like Algebra 2, or if it's a completely different thing. I've looked for websites offering practice on Algebra 2, so that I could refresh my brain and get it going again, but I could only find sites for up to 8th grade. What's up with that? If anyone knows anything about Pre-Cal or any sites with Algebra 2 practice, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

If I have a circle, diameter 10cm, and an equilateral triangleis formed from this diameter, jutting out of the "top" of the circle. what is the area of the two sections cut "off" the circle by the equilateral triangle? In other words, the area of the circle not enclosed by the triangle, and not in the "lower" half of the circle?

If you could explain your solution I would be appreciative. My gut reaction is that the answer is 4.08cm^2.

Note: Involves some DDR elements.

Three people (Dell, Josh, and Sean, that's me) are playing DDR Extreme at the arcade. Using the DDR 5th Mix Arcade evalution formula (go to DDR Freak, Tips and Guides, DDR 5th Mix arcade) , find each player's score for the song "Super Star", if played on Heavy (Maniac) with Little off (Marvelous is off, each is playing four panel singles). See DDR Freak for the stepcharts for the following results:
Dell:
143 Perfects
142 Greats
2 Goods
2 Almosts
Josh:
288 Perfects
1 Great
Sean:
236 Perfects
49 Greats
4 Goods
Also say who has the highest grade.
