Can anyone post a link to an article about how Mathematics can improve and/or save lives?

Please I really need it ASAP. Saving/improving lives or even the important of Math in life. Thanks!

World War II code breakers used math to save the lives of people because we could know the enemies plans.

Mathematical hurricane predictions save lives.

Mathematical carriers improve lives.

My guess is some math teacher is making you do this. I reality math has never saved a single life. Engineering and physics which use math saves lives but math does not.
Any thing that saves lives invovled math to make it better or to design it.
