You have two sets of objects:
A={a1...aN}, B={b1...bM}

Every object in each set has a set of properties:
a={p1...pY}
b={q1...qZ}

You have a function which defines the probability that two properties are the same
P(a{p},b{q})

How do you find the best matching of objects?

Properties must match in the same way for all objects:
if p1 => q2 for a1,b1 then p1 => q2 for all a,b

Some properties may have no match (Y != Z)
Some objects may have no match (N !=M)

Thoughts?

I'm a junior at the University of South Florida right now. I'll be graduating with my BA in December of 2007. My major is Mathmatics. I plan on getting a Masters, also. Right now, my plans are to be a high school teacher, and an adjunct at a community college.

But I'm wondering what else I can do with a Masters in Mathematics. I just want to keep options out there for myself.

Thanks

Should math be an optional course in college? Due to the fact some of us do not want to become math's teacher, scientists, etc. I mean what is the point of learning Alegbra, and Geomentry if we are not going to apply it in everday life? I understand the point of consumer math. But, not the other math. Why is math so important in our society besides consumer math? Is the pushing of math going overboard in our society.

show that t* is a decreasing function of C,and therefore to minimize t*, take z as large as possible. Assume Volume=500liters. k=optimal value,c(t)=concentration
