Not the deepest gorge but the deepest water level. I know it's variable depending on the season, what I'm trying to find out is what the deepest river is at any given time compared to the other rivers at the same time.
I've been told it's the Green River in Kentucky but can''t find any info to support or refute this.
If you can please provide URL (link) to web site that has this info.

How do scientists living at the South Pole specify direction? At the south pole, every direction is north. East, west, south have no meaning. So how would they indicate the direction on the horizon that a plane is expected to be coming from?
