No, big cities like Miami and Orlando are in the bottom half of the state, but there are tons of wildlife and the everglades are beautiful! they are all around when you go to south Florida! try kayaking through the everglades and mangroves... it is breathtaking!

It's Disneyworld, Sea World, Busch Gardens and Miami Vice. Get an atlas or at least a map. You should look up stuff like this.
At one time Florida was swampland--ever hear of the Everglades? Then a bunch of real estate developers discovered all that wasted space with a beautiful climate, and they built it up and built lots of houses and resorts--it was a real estate gold mine.
Now people, especially those from the northeast, retire and move to Florida, because it's easy on
their arthritis and COPD. There are also a lot of people living there who escaped from Castro's Cuba.
You probably didn't want to know all that, but see what you can learn from books?

No. There are cities and little towns and flat spots with nothing just like anywhere else. At the southernmost end is the Everglades - which is basically a large swamp -but on the coast are many towns. Then you go on a little further and you will find the Florida Keys, lovely little islands with people, and more towns and such.
They even have indoor plumbing and people do wear shoes and go to school!
