Regarding Chixculub, Mexico. why would the large impact at
this site have killed the dinosaurs?
a. The explosion would have heated the planet to hundreds of degrees
warmer than present, killing all animal life.
b. The high amounts of radiation would be lethal for any plant or animal
life with complex DNA.
c. The soot and debris of the impact would have cooled the Earth too low
for the larger animals to survive.
d. The impact would have caused a large tidal wave that would have
killed all land animals.
