I don't know of anywhere right off where a global average is published but with a little googling or looking in natural gas journals you can find production for individual countries that have natural gas fields. Also, you have to remember there are some coal beds that release natural gas and sometimes this is not accurately measured or included in production reports since it is generally not captured.
