this might seem like a strange question, but does anybody know how much lead goes for per pound? Thing is, I've got lots of it in my garage (a ton give or take).

thanks

So is it reasonable to say that I'll get about a dollar per pound if it's scrap?

Geolicious is correct and that price has not fluctuated much, maybe 10 cents in the past year. However, I assume you have "scrap metal" lead. The price for lead quoted is what the commodities are being exchanged for on the open market for pure lead, just like gold. Plus, whomever you sell your scrap lead to will want to make a profit as well. You should keep all these things in mind.

If you could transmute it to gold you'd get a better return!!!
