I'm looking for a photo(s) of something I saw when I was a kid in a history or science book, or maybe even an encyclopedia. It was a type of large "dinosaur-like" sea creature, or atleast that's what they believed it to be. It was surprisingly well preserved, and they were bringing it up out of the ocean on what, to my young mind, looked to be like a crane. I hope I'm providing enough information, but it's a memory I've never forgotten and I've always wanted to see the photo(s) again and read on it now that I'm older. I'm looking for an online link to the photos/story. Any help would be much appreciated.

how can the north, south, east west make sense. To me it only make sense on the way the map is illustrated. otherwise i dont know the concept of eastern or western countries

This guy ( http://cynicalpsychic.blogspot.com/ ) has a gag website. I think it's a gag anyway. And he said there would be an earthquake in the pacific rim within the next 6 months and a week after he posted there was a quake. What were his chances? Mathematically speaking.

Wouldn't it save millions of life if this could be done? I know this sounds silly but I was just wondering cos there are volcanoes that are just waiting to incinerate an entire population, and if there's an alternative to moving everyone out of its surroundings, especially in a metropolitan or densely populated city, I think it's worth the work.
