To add to what has already been said:

Structural Geology (study of rock body distribution) similar to
Geophysics
Geomorphology (study of landforms)
Oceanography (study of the oceans)
Hydrology (study of water)
Geochemists (study of chemical distributions)
Paleoclimatologists (study of past climatic occurrences- a good one if you're into Global Warming)

there are many branches in the Earth Sciences/Geology
some much more specialized than others.

I can only make an educated guess here...Think about it though...you can study geology to better explain evolution, so I guess that would be an organic geology or bio-geology. You could study geology of different planets...probably called astro-geology. How about the chemistry of rocks?

I know there are all sorts of sub-divisions to many branches of science. I hope someone has a better answer than this one for you, cause that is a good question!

Planetary geology- other planets and solar systems
Paleontology- the history of life on earth
Paleoecology- ecological interactions and their evolutionary implications
Petroleum geology- where the oil is, how to get it out, prospecting for it
Conservation Paleobiology- what conditions existed in the more recent geologic past, and what can we infer from the fossil record about our current effects on species and the environment?
Hydrogeology- study of groundwater, flow of contaminants
Geomorphology- evolution of landforms and earth systems

Ohhhh, how I love geology!
