I probably shouldn't be asking this question as I'm relatively scientifically challenged. But I have read numerous facts that scientists can take the preserved DNA of a dinosaur and re-create. Why has this not happened? Was I misled and it's not possible afterall? Please, feel free to fill me in on the currencies of this matter. Having a life-long fascination with dinosaurs, this is something I've always wondered about. Thanks in advance.

Never have found another one in 5 years of rock hunting around my state ( Oregon), & I can't tell if it is naturally this conglomeration of different rocks ( I think thats what it is, anyway) or if somehow it could have been caused by people? Either way, what are the likely reasons for a rock to end up like this one? http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/5347/hpim0558xn6.jpg
