why is it not useful in nuclear medicine?

to the next upper energy level.so imagine a black paint on a car in the sun being heated up.
so the sun gives electrons,and the paint atoms consume it and the electrons in the atoms of the paint go to the next energy level..right
so if it goes to next energy level it gains energy
so how is that we feel the heat .because according to the thery heat is given out only when energy is lost

in the chemical formula for calcium hydroxide, Ca(OH)2, why are the oxygen and hydrogen molecules together in parentheses??
