*AP Chemistry: Hydrate Lab* If the accepted value was 5 and the percentage error was found, how do you show what would happen to the accepted value if you did not drive off all the water in the crystal?

The balanced equation is C5H12 + 8O2 = 5CO2 + 6H2O
There are 5 moles of CO2 present. Is the 4.52^23 molecules for 5 moles of CO2 or for 1 mole of CO2? I can solve it if you can answer just that but a whole answer would be appreciated.

I need help balencing this redox equation in NET IONIC form:
Zn(s) + 2 HCl(aq) --> ZnCl2(aq) + H2(g)

normally I would just do:
Zn + 2H+ --> Zn(2+) + H2
but our teacher wants us to use H3O+ instead of H+

So now I'm stuck with this:
Zn + H3O+ --> Zn(2+) + H2
and I don't know how to balance it.

thanks!!

One of the questions I have to answer is: "Characterize the following compounds as soluble or insoluble in water: (a) CaCO3, (b) ZnSO4, (c) Hg(NO3)2, (d) HgSO4, (e) NH4ClO4"

What I don't understand is how to recognize soluble and insoluble compounds. Please help!

I live in a rich oregano area in Mexico. I know about the profits you can make processing this plant. Unfortunetely, I am not a Chemistry Specialist and I don't know the exact process, and wich materials or equipment to use in order to extract the oil from the plant.
Thanks in advance.
