i was wondering if you could obtain sodium (not salt but pure sodium) in large quantities (as in 4+ lbs of it) from a company without being a teacher or in some industry that requires it or is there a way to isolate if from some other substance and get it (as in take the chlorine out of salt). Lithium and potassium would work too if there was a way to get either of them.

She uses a Crystal.
Its like a rock that you RUB in your arm pits and then it is supposed to stop you from smelling.
It just does not make sense to me.
Can someone please explain how they work?
If they work.
I did not get a chance to get close enough to her to see if she smelled like B.O.

I'm majoring in biological sciences and might go into biotechnology, genetics, or cell biology. However, my I'm no mathematician. I know that I'm required to take two years of calculuds at the college I'm attending, and I have no problem with that. But do chemist use a lot of math in the field, besides algebra--which I'm pretty good at?
