Growing up, I was always hearing people asking others if they had worms if they had a healthy appetite. Is that an old wive's tale or something? If not, why is the person eating more? To replace nutrients taken by the worms from the intestines?

A girl I know who is Christian likes to point out "miraculous" things like science doesn't know how cats purr and that with as much as we know about biology, that initial spark when the sperm enters the egg that causes life to start is completely unknown and unknowable by science.

Well I looked around and found the cat purring answer for the most part, but I am curious as to the answer of what exactly happens to "spark" life.

She also says that when you die there's a surge in electical activity right before death and she says it's the soul leaving but science can't figure that out either. Any info on that would be appreciated as well.

Links also welcome.

Every time they show a skull of a 'hominid' or transitional form of man, I see...a monkey skull. They are distinctly different.

The Fossil record destroys Evolution, but the evolutionary faithful keep on touting each find as proof of evolution. But proof to whom, those who wish to believe, or those who still question everything and are actually scientific.

If you have no transitional forms between Ape & Man, then how do you come to conclusion that Chromosome #2 in Man is a fussion of Ape Chromosomes taking us from 48 to 46?

The answer - assumption. You cannot prove it, you can only and I quote, "think it may have happened".

Could we function without DNA?

I think that our genetic make-up would be completely out of wack. What would life be like? I think that is impossible but I'm not completely sure. Voice your opinion, thanks.
