Could we function without DNA?

I think that our genetic make-up would be completely out of wack. What would life be like? I think that is impossible but I'm not completely sure. Voice your opinion, thanks.

There's no life without DNA.

You realize that DNA tells how to make the proteins, and without those proteins, nothing else happens in the cells. So without DNA, there aren't any cells, for that matter.

well if dna didn't exist, our cells would never be created as by miosis or mitosis, but if you mean all the dna dissapeared, it would mean we no longer could be considered living things so there would be no life to describe

In cells that do have DNA, their biochemical processes would cease without it.
