What is the cause of the plant’s death? The animal’s death? Would the survival times for these organisms change if they were placed in the same sealed jar?

in a lab we had to do we had to explore the effect of a buffer.
we had a test tube of milk and a test tube of water.
we then added a drop of vinegar to each.. one frop at a time.. to see if the pH would change

we found out that the pH of water changed first... but i dont know why it did or what it had to do with the buffer.

OK, so I really have no idea on this...

I know it is possible to take cuttings from a fruit tree that displays the largest and healthiest fruit in the orchard and plant these cuttings to grow new trees, genetically identical to the tree from which the original cuttings were taken. I found a questionable picture on my 11 yr olds cell! It looks like either a dog or possibly a deer on its back with it's legs being held spread open! This picture of this animal had at least 6 nipples! Does anyone know how many nipples a doe deer has or if there is (was) a "freak" deer with "extra" ones? I don't want to question him yet about it for many reasons at this point in time! I do feel it is inappropriate but i want to get any info before i do question him! Thank You!

My house is over 200 years old and I live in a region that has sub zero winters with snow that can collect up to 8’. I wonder how the people who built and lived in this house survived without foreign or local fuel. Why has fuel become a life or death necessity?
Have we evolved somehow that we cannot tolerate cold weather like our ancestors did and like animals do now (birds, farm and forest animals etc…)
