Just say I am a student of evolution and you were an evolution teacher...how would you explain this. Yes I know it took millions of years, but if you could look at the process and I guess put it into supper sonic fast forward how would the process take place. I mean losing the long tail, the hairy body, developing the higher brain intelect and all the other changes that had to occur for humans to evolve. Is anybody familure with this evolving process and how to accurately describe it?

we hear all this fear of losing animals to extinction. but when you look back into million and millions of years ago, animals were extincted by mass numbers by nature. so we can assume that extinctions are a natural process and trying to save animals these days from extinctions seem like going against nature to me. what do you think?

This is not a question of evolution vs. creation. Suppose all humans were to leave Earth, leaving behind the current animal kingdom.... Would humans re-evolve on Earth, millions of years later ????

My uncle has a question he needs resolved. He has been wearing vinyl gloves and working with salt. A while ago he noticed that when using these gloves they broke down and if so, was this breakdown contaminating the food he was eating?

salt=nacl na=sodium a group 1 element.
structure of gloves is vinyl is ch2=ch-
the equal sign on the vinyl group means a double bond
single bond is 'ane'
double bond is 'ene'
triple bond is 'yne'
#1 posiibilty.......ch2=ch-na.......
this is going to food.
#2 possibly........nacl.......ch2...

the old evoutionary chart keeps getting proven wrong-this according to bill kimbel at the university of arizona-director of the institute of human origins. is this just more proof that we did no evolve from apes or fish as some would have us believe. the GOD option is looking more and more like the truth.

For this question, the definitions of terms used are

Evolution = the development of species into different types of animals over very long periods of time. e.g. fish evolving into modern day birds. A fruit fly evolving into another species of fruit fly is too short sighted. Evolution here is taken to mean evolution from one type of animal to another type of animal and include theories in like character to the Cambrian Explosion.

Science = "systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation." (www.dictionary.com)

Philosophy = "1. the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct. 2. the critical study of the basic principles and concepts of a particular branch of knowledge, esp. with a view to improving or reconstituting them." (www.dictionary.com)

I am aware the question has been asked before. However, I wanted to ask the question myself, providing concrete definitions of critical terms.
