I did a little research before asking this. Everybody seems to think light is visible. Its not.

Turn on a flashlight and point it away from you. Now think for a moment. Do you see light spewing forth from the flashlight? No, you don't.

Look at a helicopter searching for criminals. Do you see light spewing forth fron the copter? No.

Your sitting in a room. The celing lamp has four 100 watt bulbs in it. Think a moment. Do you see the light? No. You see your surroundings.

Light is invisible. What are we looking at?

Why cant a blind man see?

I was sort of thinking along the lines of carbon dioxide narcosis, 'pure' oxygen?, pressure changes in atmosphere (underwater nitrogen narcosis), hyperventilation, nitrous oxide. I'm sure there are a lot more, what other types of breathing-related conditions induce conscious changes? I want to know so I can write an article about breathing.

Further tests showed that 70% of the gametes produced in the population contained the A1 sequence. If the population is at Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, what proportion of the flies carries both A1 and A2?

I came to notice several times that after a dog or a sheep is hit by a car, they run so fast for hundreds of meters, fall down, get to some fits and then collapse. How could this be explained interms of damage to the brain and a stress response. I would be glad to recieve answers with highly technical contents.
