Scientists are not above being egotistic and pushing their ideas to the detriment of other ideas that may less far-fetched. The selfless scientist toiling away in the laboratory for the truth is a myth.

Scientists are generally too curious to keep secrets, unless they work for the government. If it is a secret, why would anyone tell you?

In the 1960's a scientist be the name of Searle invented a generator that made power by reversing gravity. He made a disc that flew around, and they photographed it. It was in the London newspaper.

It was called the Searle generator, if you keyword:
