can you explain this to me? why would it matter? how? is there any one absolute size for all of us to be? are we suppose to match up with those charts no matter what and why? how do we do that?

Can anyone tell me the methods in isolating listeria? I know it may take up to 4 weeks, but if hospital were running routine blood culture tests could they find listeria monocytogenes?
