Don't you think that driving 4-7 miles in 3 years a little too little? I mena, of course they are not Bugattis, but 4 miles is just seems like too slow. A reasonable distace would be 50-100 miles. Keep in mind, that's during 3 years!

Why do you think they are that slow?

I know that most physicists and cosmologists accept that they probably do exist and work on that basis, but do we know for a FACT that they are there. For example, have we actually seen one?

Or are they still fundamentally theoretical in the same way that Big Bang and Relativity are?

Please only answer if you know for sure. This is to settle an argument, and a dinner for two at Berni Inn rests on it.

Thank you :-)

18th night 10:40
i jus went into the balcony, and saw a red moon. it was too red that it looked exactly like mars. i thought to capture it through camera but it was gradually going down and a building was covering it. i could only see it for 10 mins. not more than that. it was a very good sight. but was it mars or the moon? if it was the moon why was it so red? but it was as big as moon. after 10 more mins it jus went down completely.

It was faked, at least portions of it- there is no question about that. I am not necessarily saying we did not actually land on the moon; just saying the photographs and film were fakes.
Had the astronauts been on the moon, they could have bounded upwards 10 feet with each step, everything they did was filmed in slow motion, and nothing they did (movement- wise)couldn't have been filmed here on Earth. I won't get into the other factors of dust, lighting, wind, radiation effect on film etc., because it is apparent the pictures were indeed faked.
But, as I alluded to earlier, just because the pictures are obviously fakes, that doesn't mean that man did not land on the moon. Perhaps we did land on the moon but what we found was so ??? that the government had to cover it up with the fake images....

Since the Earth is around 5 billion years old I can't help but wonder what the chances are that a solar eclipse can take place at the time when inteligent beings are able to view it. From Earth's perspective the Sun is 400 times further away then the moon but the moon is 400 times smaller meaning we view both sun and moon as same size. Science estimates that in under 600 million years a total eclipse will not be possible due to Moon moving further away together with the Sun expanding.

Is it just coincidence that this takes place at the time when the human being species exist. What are the chances of this hapening.
