If you stand facing due east, outstretch your arm even with your nose and point, just a little higher than that. It is a dim star with almost no stars immediatley around it. Watch it and every 30 seconds to a minute it will give off a "sparkly" aura. It's very cool. I would love to know what it is.

WE SEE A FULL MOON AND A NEW MOON ONCE EACH MONTH. EXPLAIN, THEN, WHY WE DO NOT SEE A TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE AND A TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE SOMEWHERE ON EARTH EACH MONTH?

Which object other then Earth, Moon, Mars or space ships will be the first to have a 50,000 population on it?

Since Moon, Mars and space ships are obvious candidates, which one will follow after that?

Don't forget hazardous things like very high radiation on some moons.

Disregarding Pluto, because it is no longer a planet.

Why does every planet in out solar system have an orbit that is relatively in a straight line in comparison to other planets? All of our palnets are in a horizontal orbit as opposed to a few going in a vertical orbit.

When we go into space, and fly thru dark energy, do you think it just passes thru our space ship, and thru us, or does it go around us?
Like air or water? What do you think?

If I had a pipe that was 240,000 miles long, one end in the ocean, the other end on the surface of the moon would liquid water be pulled through the pipe such as I can with a soda straw here on Earth

Whay are planets round? For some reason, everything we call a planet is on the round side. Not perfectly sperical, but close to it. We don't have planets that look like jagged rocks like large asteroids are.

Due to the rotation of the earth, do course corrections have to be made during a long flight north or south bound, say from Argentina to New York, or does the Earth's gravity hold an airplane in the same longitude as it travels 33,000 feet in the air?

Ok, i've done a lot of research on this fact, some say that it will be the end some say this:

This is what's happening on 12-21-2012: The Mayan Long Count calendar is rolling over from 12 Baktuns to 13 Baktuns (similar to our calendar going from 1999 to 2000 except a Baktun is 400 years long). Also on that morning, which is the winter solstice, there will be an astronomical alignment between the sun and the dark spot on the Milky Way at dawn.

The Maya believed that the dark area of the Milky Way was the birth canal of the universe, so when the sun came up through that dark area, it was being reborn (so you had that part of it correct). But our old world wasn't going to die at that moment. It's already dead and has been for years.

Ya, i found that online, but what really is going to happen then? Please i need to know. I hope that this doesn't happen cuz i'd really like to have a family, and i'd only be 19 than.
