So the next time your out side pick your star because in odder for life to carry on. Are new home is going to have to be next to a star. Like are own sun.

Please think LOGICALLY and make some simple mathematical calculations before you answer; and consider that if the Moon really rotates, all its sides should be seen on a regular basis, as well as different sides of the Moon should be seen from different parts of the Earth and throughout the different seasons and hours of the day. OH i for sure know the common explanation that the Moon rotates the same speed as it orbits the Earth but such a coinscidence is about 1:10.000.000 to happen assuming that there are millions of planets and satellites in our Universe, and they each have their own unique speed. Very, very strange indeed.

I think not, but I would be grateful for your opinion and reasons
"Communication distance" means about 100 light years, other wise we shall never know.

The number of stars within that range is limited, and the combination of circumstance needed for life are incredibly large. As for intelligent life... forget it.

I think people who believe there is life are indulging in wishful thinking and the scientists who encourage such opinions and keep searching are just safeguarding their hobbies and jobs, at our expence.

Good criteria? Or did I exclude something from this list? And why or why not is this a good list to accurately know what a planet is?

telescope photo or video of Apollo space craft circling the moon, might have been Apollo 8, that that was show on TV real quick? I saw it of course live when i was a kid. You could hardly see the space craft but it was exciting! Might have been 1968, or 1969 or 70. I think they did not land on the moon yet.
