The women in my family on my mothers side always and only dream when there is a full moon. Why does this happen?

Nearly everyone dreams every night. The difference is in remembering it.

The full moon is associated with, um, exaggerated behaviour. Perhaps your dreams are more vibrant during this time, hence your family's tendency to remember them.

Lest you doubt the ability of the moon to influence our bodies and brains, think of the tides and the fact that our bodies are 70% water.

Just about everyone dreams every night unless they suffer from a disorder. Perhaps your are preconditioned to remember them better around the full moon because of what you've been told by your family -- the fact that you only dream during a full moon.

Like the other person said you dream every night. But you seem to associate your dreams better when the moon is full. It's not genetic. It's coincidence.

There is no possible causal relationship between you remembering your dreams and the phase of the moon. The Moon does not affect people like that (or any other way, for that matter).

It's just probably hereditary but go to your local book store and try to find some books on dreams and what dreams sybalize, or do some online research on it.
