ok , so here is my work. well, sort of. I did it in my head since it's a easy one. LOL.
dy^2/dx = -2x

so from here, do we take a square root for both sides?

Ok people I have this two problems that I have an idea of how to workout but the answers I get differ from what the book says, so I need someone's help, please!!!

I'm looking for a way to get down a mountain a little bigger than the grand canyon. It takes about six hours by foot using trails that barely exist and maybe two feet wide.

An about how much would you think it would cost. I thought maybe several rope ladders but might not be best because of length issues.

Food and backpacks would also be carried down.
